screenshotThe weekend saw the launch of our two new themes in the repository – WP StrapFolio And Revised which went live on the 29th September.

WP StrapFolio as the name implies is designed with content showcasing in mind. Content is displayed with a large image for sticky posts and in a half and half split for the image (thumbnail) and content for the standard feed. There are more features yet to be added as we are working on fine tuning them before releasing for public consumption so watch out for a new release on a regular basis in the coming weeks. Our second theme is a non Bootstrap theme and is the Revised version of the default theme, TwentyThirteen. screenshotWith Revised we wanted to make the theme more CMS and Web centric than just a simple blog theme. We gave the theme a boxed look, unlocked the sidebar, removed the header and shifted the search form to sit opposite the site title. Revised still retains all of the other goodness TwentyThirteen introduced and we brought the Sticky posts in line with the post format color scheme. A theme is available for download at http://wordpress.org/themes/revised

And finally – StrapVert hit the 28, 000 downloads milestone today, 6 weeks since launch. Thank you so much to all that downloaded and use StrapVert, we really appreciate you and your support – please continue being awesome :). If you are not yet using StrapVert for your site please do give it a go, we are sure you will love it. You can download the lite version at http://wordpress.org/themes/strapvert

      Hello Jeff,

I’m assuming that you referring to the StrapVert theme – by featured do you mean the actual entire featured section or the corner banner?

In either case you find the option to hide the entire featured section, top featured section, bottom featured section and/or the banners in the theme Customizer which is under the Appearance section within your Admin dashboard.

Version 1.1.8 is coming up shortly that gives you the option to show the featured posts with in the main blog feed as well.

Hope that answers your question – if there’s anything else I can help with please feel free to ask 🙂

No problem at all Jeff – glad we have that sorted 🙂

Thank you for choosing StrapVert, any feedback you can give will be greatly appreciated as it will help us improve the theme even further – feature requests are also welcome.

  1. I have used the WP-Strapfolio for one of my pages (www.botsheritage.com/north). I have a problem in working around the slide show and how to insert pictures in it. I also would like to get rid of the Archive and Meta that appear on the page, I want a clean page. I think you guys should have a YouTube video(s) showing some of us how to efficiently work around your WP Themes – if you don’t have it already. All-in-all its a wonderful theme.
