Sincere apologies for the delay in announcing this one – unfortunately health had to come first and work secondary. Trying to get back up to speed now 🙂
So here goes – another brand new Strap Coded theme for you all to enjoy: Announcing StrapVert (Vert being Green in French).
StrapVert is a clean modern and elegant theme for the discerning designer/artist/photographer come magazine or business oriented websites. It comes spruced with just about enough features without the clutter of complicated setup/options to worry about – works out of the box with minimal configuration.
The main focal point is the Featured Content section at the top of the home page which runs off Sticky posts as its main feed and comes with (new version: 1.0.2) options to turn it off completely or just the section you don’t to show, a couple of check boxes is all it takes to configure the Featured section.
The theme was uploaded to WordPress over the weekend, approved and is now live at http://wordpress.org/themes/strapvert – do check it out and let us know what you think as we love and appreciate all feedback.
WordPress 3.6 is live with a spanking brand new default theme that is “bold, beautiful and sleek” – but we thought we’d change that be “Bold, Beautiful and Bootstraped” and ofcourse it is still sleek 🙂
So let us introduce the TwentyThirteen’s child theme – StrapThirteen Is Here! Take a look at the attached image and then check out the demo site by clinking the link below.
We have uploaded the theme to WordPress.org to be considered for inclusion in the repository – hopefully this shouldn’t take too long. In the meantime is the link for the live demo.
iContent is designed with your content in mind and comes with a splash of few crafty and nifty ways to really highlight your content for maximum exposure.
Custom self adjusting Showcase widget area just above the content combined with the Alternative recent post widget and a few clever settings via check boxes is all it takes to highlight up to 4/5 rows of your best content.
Don’t like rounded thumbnails for your posts and the widget areas? No problem – we have you covered with options to switch the blog feed and the alternative recent post to square thumbnails. Or simply use the Recent post widget in the showcase and sidebar areas to show wide scope thumbnails.
Check out the demo to get the feel of what iContent is all about and watch out for news of the download once we get through the review process over on WordPress.org.
